I enjoyed watching you in the video, David. Great presentation as you brought up so many good points. You’ve reminded me of some areas that I could improve. I am challenged by heart rate variability. I need to work on that! Also, I’d like to learn more about circadian rhythms. “Boundaries are proxy for respect.” That’s a great saying. I do this all the time! I test people all the time unknowingly. Then, when they cross the boundary, it’s pretty clear to me where the relationship stands. I also like how you framed time sovereignty as agency. I never quite about it quite that way before.

Spiritual bypassing is a challenge, as you mentioned, especially with psychedelic work. I’m still challenged by alignment of my mind, body and soul. This is a daily challenge for me. Am I a meat puppet or an ethereal soul? 😂 This is the integration journey — a reconciliation of those tensions. I appreciate how you gave a concrete example of how that shows up in your life — the mismatch. That’s where I’m finding the ‘real’ work begins.

Also, at some point, I might consider doing presentations. Do you recommend buying a microphone or is that just for a podcast? I’m assuming Substack just has some built in zoom like conference feature.

I look for to hearing more as it always looking for new strategies to optimize my health.

Start with any USB condenser mic, there are some pretty cheap streaming ones. I use a Shure MV-7, which is mid-grade for streamers.

Hey Dave heard in a recent clip that you are ADHD. How do you cope with this and do you medicate? Trying to be more productive and this has been an issue.

No medicine. Get exercise. Learn about circadian and ultradian rhythms. ADHD is only a disease if you fight it.
