Remember ‘heuristic imperatives’? I watched that video like 4 times. That’s when I discovered your work. And here you are now. Amazing 🙏

Dave , that text to your wife was beautiful. It really touches on some core issues, radical acceptance of now, tuning out all the chatter and really connecting with the moment. You are fed, hydrated, cared for and loved, this will always be the case on the path of service, whatever form that takes, the universe will provide. I can assure you that you are of service to me and many others.

I see the “cosmic strings” between the loss your younger self experienced and your experience of being loved and cared for now.

In a way we all exist in the margin between love and service and fear and self, loss and pain are powerful tests of our resolve to choose one over the other. Your choice is obvious to me.

I wish you a speedy and thorough recovery, please keep us posted on your progress ❤️

Love is the reflection of evol-ution. Silly word play? Maybe, but it helps me. Some aspects of scientific thinking regarding energy-information are perhaps evolving towards a formulation of cosmic shamanism. Interesting. Einstein pondered “What is it like to be a photon?” Which in turn catalysed….. (complete this statement). This famous gedanken (German for “thought experiment” - another a German word for you) was foundational for Einstein, the youth, that shaped his life’s work. Love your musings Dave.

I'm afraid you're syntactically somewhat wrong about "Umwelt". It more or less just means "environment" - your quote is not wrong, but it explains the nuance of the concept (Umwelt as "the world around someone/something" in a deeper sense than "stuff in your proximity", and more like "everything you are in passive or active interaction with") not the word per se.
